Business is managed through the Doncaster Chamber of Commerce providing a
FREE Workplace Health and Safety Advisory Service to SME’s in the Doncaster
Area. They are working closely with their partners which include Improving
Access to Psychological Therapies, Primary Care Trust and Condition
Management Programme as part of the Barriers to Employment Model and can
open the door for companies to these public sector services. They are a
service that was set up at the end of 2006 to assist companies in meeting
their legal requirements in Health and Safety. The law requires all
businesses ensure the Health Safety and Welfare of their employees. There
are two main pieces of legislation The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974
and the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999. They are
here to help comply with these Legislations.
